Vaaday is a building management platform for condominium committees, HOA boards, and property managers in Israel. This Privacy Policy explains what data we collect, how we use it, and your rights regarding your personal information. By using Vaaday, you agree to the practices described in this policy.

2. Data We Collect

Account data

Full name, email address, phone number, and account type (building manager, resident, or service provider).

Building data

Building name, address, city, apartment number, floor, and role within the building (owner / tenant / manager).

Usage data

Payments recorded and payment history, incidents reported, discussion messages and threads, votes and responses, documents uploaded, and marketplace listings.

Device data

Push notification token (Expo) and device platform (iOS / Android).

Payment data

Subscription payments are processed externally by PayPlus (payplus.co.il), a licensed Israeli payment processor. Vaaday does not store credit card numbers or banking information.

3. How We Use Your Data

To provide and operate the Vaaday service
To send push notifications for payments, incidents, votes, announcements, and messages
To process subscription billing via PayPlus
To allow building managers to manage residents and finances
To generate invoices and receipts for building committees

We do not sell your personal data to any third party.

5. Data Storage & Security

All data is stored on Supabase servers hosted on AWS (Sydney, Australia)
All data is transmitted over HTTPS (TLS encryption)
Authentication uses JWT tokens with automatic refresh
No sensitive data is stored locally on your device beyond your session token (stored in secure system storage)

6. Data Retention

Your account data is retained as long as your account is active
You may request deletion of your account and all associated data at any time by contacting support@vaaday.co.il
Building data is retained as long as the building account is active

7. Your Rights

You have the right to:

Access the personal data we hold about you
Correct inaccurate data
Request deletion of your data
Object to processing of your data
Export your data in a portable format

8. Children's Privacy
